Wear Hope. Share Hope.

I was surprised when the young man working behind the counter at the mail house motioned for me to stay until the others customers left.

" Thank you," he said.

"For what?" I asked.

"For your timely words the last time you came in...and for the bracelet," he said. "I already gave it away to someone else who needed to know that God is bigger than any problem."

As usual we chatted for a few minutes and before I left I handed him another "immeasurably more" bracelet to wear or share.

Looking back, I never dreamed the tape measure bracelets my friend and I had custom made for student's to wear to remind them of the school's theme verse Ephesians 3:20, "Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine according to His power at work within you," would expand into a daily way for me to wear and share the hope, that God is bigger.

I've handed out "immeasurably more" bracelets to hundreds of people from random strangers who asked about my bracelet to women sitting next to me at a mammogram or executives on an airplane.

People in need of hope are everywhere. God can and will transform anything in our lives-people, places, possessions, and personal life experiences into hope for others. Be willing to let Him. Wear hope daily through a smile or encouraging word. Invite God to show you how to share hope with someone in need today.

If you need a bracelet, let me know.

Hopelifters' 3rd Annual
Mother's Day Hope on Wheels Tour
For women who have lost children
Saturday, May 5, 2012

Who do you know who has lost an unborn or newly born child or child of any age? Mother's Day is almost here and for many it is a bittersweet day.

On Saturday, May 5 I have chartered a luxury bus and will be taking up to 50 women who've lost children away for the day to Living Water Retreat Center, just 2 hours north of Phoenix. This experience is free to women who've lost children and includes meals, a meaningful program, time to relax, time to connect with God and time with other women who can relate to losing a child. This year’s tour will also feature inspirational poet Hosanna Wong hosannapoetry.com

Here's what women who attended last year's Mother's Day Tour said:
  • "I loved being with women who understood my loss and lifted me up."
  • "I enjoyed having the freedom to show my son's picture and say his name."
  • "I loved the worship experience, time with God and Oak creek."
  • "God used this trip to give me hope for my broken-heart."

Join me in transforming broken hearts. Invite a woman to attend or underwrite the cost of her day. Go to www.hopeonwheels.net for details.

May God fill the bus and transform lives with His power.

Happy New Year!

What hopes and dreams do you have for 2012?

Is this the year your longing will be fulfilled and your dream will finally become a reality?

Perhaps 2012 is the year you'll cross over and step in hope and freedom or embrace a passion you thought had died. Will a new ministry or relationship be ignited? How exciting to know God DOES have a plan for you and me and His desire is that we trust Him beyond our understanding and live life to the fullest.

Join me and dare to dream this year! Enlarge your vision. See beyond obstacles to opportunities. Invite God to show you where He is at work and be willing to join Him.

This year, Hopelifters will dare to dream and multiply hope to and through the broken-hearted in expanded ways. Join me on Hope on Wheels for a day away with God bus trip, www.hopeonwheels.net or on a weekend retreat for women to dream, grieve, or write.

Plans are moving forward to develop a strategic alliance of like-minded ministries, online resources, and a network of tangible hope including a "hope cottage" in Arizona for women in need of in town time away with God.

I hope to see you and hear how God is fulfilling HIS dream through you!

With Great Expectation,
Kathe
